Sebastian Priaulx Signs Multi-Year Deal With Multimatic Motorsports

Sebastian Priaulx’s eye-catching performances in 2019 have secured him a new multi-year deal with Multimatic Motorsports, with the teenage talent joining his father Andy in continuing with the team through 2020 and beyond.

Priaulx enjoyed great success with the team last year during his maiden British GT Championship campaign alongside Scott Maxwell, with two race victories, three podium finishes and three pole positions in their Ford Mustang guiding them to second in the final GT4 championship standings.

The Guernseyman went on to make his US racing debut with the team at the end of the year and despite it being his first time competing at Road Atlanta, he stormed to victory alongside Austin Cindric in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Now part of Multimatic’s roster of elite drivers going forwards, Priaulx started his 2020 season earlier this month by topping the timesheets in the ROAR test at Daytona. He will be back there next weekend to compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race.

Sebastian Priaulx: “This is a career defining moment for me and I want to thank Larry Holt and Multimatic for making this possible. This now gives me the foundation to focus on developing my skills and knowledge and working my way up the motorsport ladder and Multimatic is the best place for me to do this. I am so motivated and excited about what the future might bring.”

Larry Holt, Multimatic Chief Technical Officer: “Andy and Seb are second and third generation Priaulx racers, so high octane petrol flows through that family’s veins.  Sebastian blew us, and everybody else, away last year in British GT and so we are committed to developing his talent this coming year by running him at North American circuits in the GT4 Mustang. We will also be testing him in some higher performance machinery.”
